Dimitris Xenakis
Dimitris K. Xenakis is adjunct lecturer teaching International Relations and Mediterranean Politics at the Department of Political Science, University of Crete. He also teaches at the National School of Public Administration and he is Scientific Advisor at the Hellenic Parliament. He has been International Organisation Advisor at the Greek Ministry of Defence (2003-4) and Strategic Analyst at the Defence Analysis Institute (2002-3). He has an extensive research output in the field of International Relations, European Foreign Policy and Euro-Arab Relations, which has been presented in major international conferences and research workshops, both in Greece and abroad. He has authored The Politics of Order-Building in Europe and the Mediterranean (DAI, 2004) and The emerging Euro-Mediterranean system (MUP, 2001). He has also published numerous articles in academic journals, such as, The Review of International Affairs, Mediterranean Quarterly, Cambridge Review of International Affairs, Perceptions, The Cyprus Review, Defensor Pacis, and Hellenic Studies.
